Pirate Girl [Oct. 2nd, 2008|11:06 pm]
Well, sorta. The original idea came from a speed sculpt i did for the theme of pirate. Anyway, here's where she's at at the mo. Still working on the texture, and the spec is very basic right now. she stands at 7400ish tri's, and the tex are here at 1024. struggling to get the trousers to look like trousers, so i'm still working on that. i might give her a hat to hide the horrible hair. anyway, thought i'd share.

3 weeks ago was my last entry? really? damn. Anywho, i've jiggered a few of the renders to spruce them up on the main site, have a look (mainly the batman ones, removed the belt puches and made the eyes smaller.) and i've made the pirate girl into a full on sculpt, and here she is




Obviosuly still wip, need to work on the arms sculpt, and the texture is a very simple poly paint atm.

heres a quick update, have made the low poly, and baked the maps across. still need to tweak them, so they're pretty rough. he's 6800 something polys, and these textures aren't scaled down atm. sorry for the image quality, will do better ones tomorrow.
